It also develops a patina — a natural ageing that makes the shoe more characterful, not less. All dmodot shoes are made from real leather. We use full-grain and top-grain leathers sourced from India, Argentina, and Belarus, chosen for quality before anything else.

A handcrafted leather shoe takes between 4 and 8 hours of skilled artisan time to make. The leather is cut by hand, stitched by hand, lasted by hand, and finished by hand.
